Concert Under the Stars

The summer heats up with the 2nd annual “Concert Under the Stars” July 14th behind Adele’s Restaurant and Lounge in Carson City.  Proceeds benefit Carson City’s Greenhouse Project. “Sons of Champlin” will headline the event. Led by former Chicago singer and band member Bill Champlin, the Sons are one of the pioneering bay area bands from the 1960s music scene. They continue to rock audiences today. Local band Southpaw Freddie will open the show.

Collectors of rock memorabilia will want to check out the Silent Auction. A Fender Squier Stratocaster guitar signed by members of the Doobie Brothers, Journey, Pablo Cruise, Taj Mahal, Little Feat and Jackie Greene will be up for bid.

Also you can bid on an almost as large as life poster of Neil Young signed by the man himself as well as a collection of Rolling Stones back stage passes. Other auction highlights include a one week stay at a Hawaii vacation home, a Monterey Bay getaway, gift certificates for numerous local businesses and much more.

Also included is a”Chair-ity” auction.Designed and decorated by well known Carson City residents, the chairs will show up their creator’s personality and humor. You’re sure to love one of the chairs, Einstein’s Pulpit. Hmmmm wonder who designed that?

Tickets are $35.00 for general admission and $60.00 for premium seating. The silent auction begins at 5:30. Music begins at 7:30. Click here to buy tickets online.
