TGP's Action Group
The Action Group Committee is a critical part of The Greenhouse Project and is composed of hard working volunteers who organize our fundraising events and support our day to day activities.
The Greenhouse Project would be lost without the tireless contribution of our Action Group volunteers. This organizational arm of TGP is the boots-on-the-ground, hands-in-the dirt, front line in fulfilling its mission of “Growing, Giving & Teaching for a Healthier, Greener, Sustainable Community.”
Members hail from all walks of life and industries, some work full time at various businesses, some are self-employed, some are retired. Each of them bring unique abilities and perspective to the group and give invaluable time learning the inner workings of the organization, helping to plan events and contributing their ideas and voices to how best to move TGP forward.
It is this body from which TGP’s Board of Directors is derived.
The Greenhouse Project Action Group meets the last Thursday of each month, at 2:30 p.m., at Green Central, located on the Carson High School campus. There is also a call-in option. If you would like to join TGP’s Action Group, we would love to have you.
